Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, autism affects an estimated 1 in 44 children in the United States today.
In this Episode we speak to Tracey Foskey, CEO and Creator of The TJAY Foundation. Tracey is also the mother of a child diagnosed with Autism. Tracey share with us why she created the foundation, and she issues she had doing so. She also opens up to the audience how her life was changed as she began to understand the diagnosis of autism for her child.

Tracey Foskey is a native of New Haven, CT. Her son, Troy Jr (TJay) was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3 (now 17). Tracey is committed to raising public awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), empowering families, and providing resources to assist families raising children on the spectrum.
Tracey is a graduate of Delaware State University. For over 20 years, Tracey has worked as a Social Worker for the State of Connecticut. Tracey is a member of God's Miracles Unlimited Outreach Ministires where she serves as Youth Advisor for the Youth Department. Tracey is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
